What does a juniper bonsai tree look like as it first grows out of the soil?
I got a juniper bonsai for my birthday and a new plant is growing out of the same pot. I'm wanting to know if its a new bonsai growing or something else weed . If it is a bonsai seedling, what should I do transfer it to another pot ?
How should I trim, shape, and water a juniper bonsai tree?
Hey, I just got a three year old Juniper Procumbens Nana the name according to site I got it off of from a web site. The instructions that come with the tree are very vague on how to shape, trim, and water it. I am particularly interested in how to trim and shape it as I have seen some impressive pictures of this species of bonsai. So how, when, where do I need to trim and how do I use a wire to shape it? I want to shape it so that it has a upward branch and a branch off the side. I appreciate any help and feel free to ask me about anything I am leaving out that you need to know.
Is my juniper bonsai tree still alive??
The pines on it are turning brown. I have been taking care of it the same as I always have, so I'm not sure what is going on. I have a few pictures, please check them out and tell me if this is normal or if it is dying. If it looks as though it is drying out I water it, and it has holes in the bottom to let excess water out. The soil it is in,not sure,it came with the tree when I bought it. It said not to use any other kind than that. I use a once a year fertilizer which I used in early spring. I put this mulch looking stuff on the top of the soil to protect it, it came with the tree as well. I keep the tree on my front porch. I put training wire on it and that is when it started turning brown, so I took it off. CONT. > > I scratched the trunk of the tree and it was still green, also the branches bend without breaking. Can i put more than one juniper bonsai tree together in one planter?
i have 4 juniper bonsai trees that i want to put together on a planter for a forest look. so i was wondering if its possible for later use.how bout if i try two on one planter?
Juniper bonsai tree with yellow and brittle leaves?
Hello, I bought a 3 year old juniper bonsai tree several months ago. I've kept in my kitchen window above the sink. The window faces south. I've watered it every week or so, trying to monitor it for dryness. I was told to only water it when the soil is no longer moist and to water it enough that the bottom of the pot begins to drain and also to wet the leaves. I've been watering it with tap water.In the last few weeks, the leaves have turned yellowish in color and are quite brittle. What do you think is causing this? Too much sun? Not enough sun? Too much or too little water?I wondered whether the tap water is affecting it, though we supposedly have the second cleanest water in the country.Any advice? Can I save it?

I just bought a juniper bonsai tree HELP ME!!!!?
i just bought what im pretty sure is a juniper bonsai tree and i have no idea what to dowhen i bought it the rocks were all dry and stuck togetherit has red rocks, moss, and normal rocks with 2 bigger ones fro appearance i thinkits almost like its int he shape of a gun, it starts to go up and then immediatly bolts to the side like i gun.i have no idea what to do please help ive heard you should submerge it in water once every 2 weeks only up to the bottom of the trunkby the way should i be able to see a round clump of dirt which i tink is the trunk? cause some are all moss around the trunk and some werent and only 1 2 mossed around the trunki need a whole care guide

i have 4 juniper bonsai trees that i sun burned over a month ago and i dont know how long to wait to let them have sunlight or how much without causing more harm to them.They are looking better but have not ben in sunlight for awhile.If you have any suggestions or tips please help.

i forgot to water the tree and the pines on it is brownish tan and my dad keeps saying it is died..i feel bad for not taking care of it and he keeps telling me to throw it away but i haven't yet because i keep telling him i can bring it back is there hope for this little plant are should i just chunk it?
