I'm thinking that what you're asking is that you have or want to grow an indoor bonsai under artificial light. If so there are lights sold as "grow lights " specifically designed for plants. They work, but are not ideal and can be expensive. A good option is to use a 2 tube fluorescent fixture with one "cool white " tube and one "warm white " tube. The mix of bulbs simulates natural sunlight if placed very close to the plant. I use this system indoors during the winter and it seems to work OK. Nothing beats natural sunlight, but this works for me when there just isn't enough sun for my tropicals (winter). |
