Question: What bonsai trees can be finished in approx. 6 months?

A living bonsai is never 'finished'... I've seen 400 year old trees that are still growing, still being clipped and shaped.... start your bonsai project with a small plant and go from there..... it won't be 'finished' in six months, but it should be quite nice if you do it right........... bonsaisite.com/

Mean is correct. There is no "finished " in Bonsai. A very good plant to use bonsai technique on is procumbens juniper, you'll get almost instant results.
