Usually plants need light (sun), water and ventilation. If it´s in a too dark place, more light will be good, but too much too soon would burn a weak plant, so direct light could harm it, so take it slow. If there is no ventilation, the plant cannot breath properly and suffers as well. But the problem most of the people cause to their plants is overwatering, the roots need to breath and if the soil is constantly wet, they dronw and actually die, so the plant gets less nutrients and starts to die. If the soil is too wet, let it dry, but not too much or the plant will die, yes, keeping even a plant alive is difficult. The soil should get slightly dry before you need to water it again, and with enough water to let it flow on the bottom, so that the water pulls air into the ground for the roots to breath. I don´t know the necessities of this particular pot, but everyday as a rule could not be good, since as i said, water should be given only when needed. If drowning of the roots is the problem, some hidrogen peroxide could provide extra oxigen to the roots, but very little, like a teaspoon in a 2 liter bottle of water and water with this, but again, only when needed. I bet in this possibilitie. |
