I just got a bonsai tree and have many questions about it?
I went to my local garden store in search of a cactus. To my dismay, their selection of the prickly little plants that stole my heart was greatly picked over. One isle over though was a lovely little display of bonsai tree. Ten minutes later I was in the car with my new plant I affectionately nicknamed " Henry." The only problem is, I have no clue how to take care of him First off, if possible, I'd like to know what species he is. He's got dark green oval shaped leaves with a shiny wax like coating on them. There are tiny white flowers blooming on him and small radish shaped green buds. Also I'd like to know how to care for him. I have a small ceramic pot for now. It had another pot with holes in the bottom so that the excess water can drain out. Sadly, I know nothing of how to prune them. I also don't know if they need direct sunlight or not. I just bought a bonsai tree at home depot help?
The tree appears to be healthy and i don't know what kind of bonsai it is but the rocks at the top of the soil is glued together and doesn't come out . How do i check the soil to see when it needs watered and is this glued rock thing ok for the tree or should i try to scrap it off the surface somehow it seems like the glued in rocks are for decoration but i need to know does it hurt the tree and how do i check the soil moisture . any serious help is appreciated

Are the bugs in my bonsai tree pests?
I have a mini 8" tall jade bonsai tree. I noticed a couple of days ago that there were small flea or fruit fly sized bugs in the soil and roots of the tree. They are the color of pale cockroaches, and the don't seem to have wings. The bugs are also smooth. All I've seen on the internet is that jade trees are damaged by aphids and mealybugs, but I'm not sure they are either.Are they parasitic? If so, what should I do?
